Ok maaaaybe I’m getting a little ahead of myself by staging the bedroom before we’ve even painted the window trim, installed the flooring, or finished the wall planks. But we’re getting so close to finishing the bedroom and I’ve started my hunt for furniture and decor. I made a buy list last week which included a pair of matching nightstands, artwork, bedding, and little decorative knick knacks to style the room.
And then I heard that Joss & Main is having their sale of the season in celebration of Way Day (i.e. everything on their site is up to 50% off today and tomorrow only April 28-29) so I stocked up!
I had every intention of making my own nightstands because I had a very specific (but simple) look in mind. Two drawers, narrow enough to fit in our small bedroom, dark with brass knobs, and inset drawers. I’m not picky at all! 😉 But I was so stoked when I found the exact style I wanted at Joss & Main for over 50% off! The brass rings really pop against the navy color and oddly enough I’m most in love with the deep wood grains. Of course wood beads are a decorative staple – placing them on a stack of books, in a bowl, in a vase, or just on a nightstand is a simple finishing touch. Even my planters and faux lavender stems are from Joss & Main! (I told you I stocked up)
